I can't believe it's been four months since I last blogged, so in the interest of time (and overcoming those feelings of neglect), today I am saying oh-kay to a sixty second recap of what's been happening:
Got a job working with World Wrestling Entertainment, where I spent eight hours watching, tagging and clipping videos. Loved it (why wouldn't I, I've been a fan of wrestling since I was a kid) They liked me, too. Even gave me a $50 gift card as an additional thank you, which I lost when my wallet was stolen at Brighton Beach, but got back after I called Bank of America with the piece of paper the card came with containing all kinds of codes. Lessons learned: Do what you love, never wear jeans with holes in them at the beach, never throw anything away Wrote and produced another play, The Other Day, at the Robert Moss Theatre, which was my best production yet, and now goes to Chicago. Also, Recovery, my flagship play has been accepted to both Minnesota Fringe and FringeNYC. I'm a real-live, touring playwright. Lesons learned: Stick with what you do best, apply to everything thinking you won't get in, and then you will. My dad came home after four months in the hospital battling a series of awful things. He's now driving again, and doing well. Lessons learned: Family is important, Being stubborn pays off Had a boyfriend, but he sucked, and now we're done. Lessons learned: Never date a closeted Republican.
